Anyone know of a good place to get bait (waxies, mealies, minnows) around the Castle Rock area.

Sometimes using waxies or not can be the difference in catching fish or not. That's why. Walmart has nice fat waxies!

Is there a pet store there like petco or petsmart? they sell mealies and i believe waxies and who knows what else!

I usually get my Mealies from a Pet Store. I've found that the Pet Store Waxies die really fast or are already dead so I try to get those from a fishing shop.

Thansk for all the info.  Finally found few places to get them, including walmart. I never thought of checking there. Did not think they would carry waxies or mealies.

I have tired some of the power baits, plastics, and silicone baits. Never had much luck, unless they were tipped with something>
