Corona Light, it reminds me of the last two vacations I took to the great country of Mexico. Add a little lime, venision burger and some steak on the barbecue and you can't beat it.

VODKA...not the foo-foo crap either. Skol 1.75L plastic...with a soda chaser...with all the activity I hate to worry about trash...One 2 liter of pop and one handle of booze. And I like to keep the empties for ice golf if it is glare ice.

Now...if I'm fishing with a little more conservative group (if that would ever happen)...I'm dashing for the Sam Adams Honey Porter...try this stuff. It's a 12 oz. lunch and not bitter for a porter.

Case of Miller Light for the portable when fishing with buddies.

Six pack of Dogfish IPA or Sierra Nevada PA if I'm by myself.

I plan on a single burner stove in the "planned" hardside. I'm thinking campfire peculator with some of that good cream. You know, the Irish type.

Sammy Smith oatys are good but the Rogue Hazlenut Brown Nectar is about the best beer you can get for any occasion.

good call on the rogue hbn - i love the dead guy too, but bottles don't really have a place in my pack, just cans. of bud, bud light, or pbr. good call on the jager, too.

Don't get me wrong , I enjoy a shot ,or two , or three or..... of Dr. McGillicutty's . But cold beer on the ice never appealed to me. Maybe it's an Iowan thing...?

the ole oatmeal stout does not have to be cold, room temp is good also. Oh wait that room will be mighty cold huh?

Used to be 1880 Rye Whiskey but I cant find it any longer .
A good sippin whiskey is Knob Creek .

Wild Turkey, LOL. I've only drank that stuff, when I was guiding at a fly-in lodge and camp was out of booze, that was our last resort,

. For some "strange" reason that was always the last thing in camp to drink.

, but a gentleman offered me a snort of blackberry brandy while eating lunch last year that really hit the spot. might be packing a flask of that around this year for those all day trips. good fishin

If you enjoy blackberry brandy and also like apples, try apple brandy as well. Can taste very sweet and has a full apple taste and smell.
