in 2005 "Gamma" bought out Stren and Suffix line companies.  Gamma claimed to combine the best qualities of both lines and market this new product under the name "Gamma."  I was working on a charter boat on Lake Ontario that field tested this new line.  It appeared to be great stuff. Just make sure you wet your line before finishing any knot.

Berkley doesn't own Stren anymore?  That's news to me. ???

I've read nothing but good things about Gamma this year.  I picked up 4 spools at Cabela's yesterday, so I'll have a better report at the end of the season.....
