Title: What trout is this?
Post by: KayakerB on Feb 13, 2019, 02:55 PM: Boss called out sick today so I got to fish for a few hours on Big Alum. Ice was doing well about 8" with a few inches of slushy snow on top. I cought this little trout and was wondering your thoughts on the species. It was very pick in color . I'm thinking brookie rainbow hybrid?

Post by: KayakerB on Feb 13, 2019, 07:56 PM: Thanks everyone. I had not seen one of the stocked brookie and always thought they had bright colors not the muted pink color I saw today. He was about 11" long so I first thought he was a small rainbow.
