Looking forward to a review ..do you have the 8ah battery or did you just get the bare tool. Looking at the video it seems the larger capacity is the real ticket to the performance ..similar to the Ridgid Octane drill.
I got it in a kit with the 8ah battery plus the 887 impact driver and 2ah battery for $299.
None of the power detect tools are available as a bare tool yet, only in a kit with 8ah battery... Which makes sense because the 8ah battery is required to get full power.
I've read hearsay that the 6ah 20v, 9 ah flexvolt, and 12ah flexvolt offer the additional power as well, but nothing confirmed yet. Basically any Dewalt battery with the newer 21700 cells. No idea if that's true or not.
