My home lake: first ice, serene and you could hear the flags pop from 100 feet away.

Archer71xx,, that shot is LaKe McDonald in Glacier park, taken from the boat ramp.
I've fished it several times with limited success.

Not a pro, but a very serious hobbyist. I have sold a few pieces this past year.
Yes fishing here is spectacular, even if you dont catch any.  @)
Real easy to get caught up in just looking around instead of fishing  ::)

If you don't mind me asking what kind of camera do you use? They are some of the best pictures I've seen. Thanks for the great post

I use Olympus DSLR's. Both are oldermodels. An E1, which was their first pro model, I bought used- its a 5mp camera one of the best ever made in my opinion. The other is a E510, a 10mp, bought new 3 years ago and now obsolete  ::).
Camera is a tool, its all in the lenses and eyeballs ;D

All of those shots are with the 14-54mm HG (high grade) lens.
Us mortals cant afford the SHG (super high grade) stuff they sell,
but its better than the standard stuff they have, which, is great glass
compared to the "other" brands standard stuff.

Sorry, I just got sidetracked by your website. You are really talented with that camera (amazing pictures). I didn't make it thru all of the galleries yet but I did bookmark it for later. Thank you again for the info and keep up the great work.
