Are these baits as good as people say they are for walleye fishing.  I plan on really getting into jigging for eyes this year and am wondering if they are worth the $$$.  If so which colors and sizes would you guys suggest?  Thanks

I'd go with the Lindy Darter.. They have an added rattle inside.

Every tool is worth it, when you learn how to use it.

It's like buying a regular floating rapala.  Expensive and made a lot less quality than the old ones.  Yet it still works.

Do you need every lure out there?  Probably not.

Used the smallest one, in perch color on Lake of Woods last year and did very well.

I like size 3 in the perch and fathead minnow. This size is good for perch and walleye. The lindy darter and jigging rapalas are also good choices. I dont think anything beats slamming walleye while jigging on the ice. Oh, try using just the head of a minnow on the bottom treb hook, this seems to help.

Chubby Darters work great ! That's all I use. Tip with a minnow head for taste. Looks just like that fish that you find inside a walleyes stomach when filleting . 8)

Well I think i am going to give them a try.  It can't hurt and from the sounds of it they may work really well.  One thing is for sure the lake I plan to use them on has never seen them before, hopefully that works to my favor.  What are the go to colors and sizes?

I have had the best luck with the small perch pattern, getting jumbo perch, big bass and crappy. I don't use any bait on mine, I found it deadend the action. I have been using the Salmo, but plan on trying some of the other brands that have come out, I hear the hooks are a little bigger and I have dropped some BIG bass at the hole and I am sure it was because of the small hooks.

I like the largest one in Dance pattern, especially in deeper water.  You never know what will hit that thing.  Disagree with tipping though,  it kills the lure's actions,  the most I do is couple maggots on the front treble.  Has anyone tried the Lindy's Darter?  That thing looks great

I usually go for the color that matches the forage in the water I'm fishing. A lot of smelt, I'll go silver and black, In a perch lake, perch pattern of course.
