Clark Lake. The gate to the township park is closed and locked. Some open water by the boat ramp. Vineyard 1 1/2 inches of black ice with 3 inches of frozen slush on top. Wamplers. 5 inches of soft ice. I broke through getting on. There were 2 guys fishing in front of the state park. The Midwest Open is postponed until 2021. Iron Lake, near Wamplers. 3 inche of soft ice. It was cracking beneath me. Little old Skiff Lake. 2 inches. YUCK.

p.s. Tom Knutson said Devils is as bad as Wamplers, if not worse.

There was a flip over coop on the west end of Clark's today, and it LOOKED (my eyes aren't that good) like a few guys out in front of consumers but don't quote me on that.

5 inches devils lake, people were out with atvs and snowmobiles, on foot for me not enough for machines IMO

Quincy tipup was this weekend. Ice is about the same here, 4-5" of mostly frozen slush under 4" of snow. My son and I placed third in crappie and gills. He won pike at 27". All in all was a good weekend except for the guys that walked a quarter mile to set up right beside us and ended up with the winning crappie. Grrrr...

I checked 5 lakes yesterday. 4 in Hillsdale County. Long and Cub had 2". Hemlock and Carpenter had open water.One! Mile Lake in the Onsted State Game area...Someone broke through at the access.
