Powder creek or Cramper lake

Was just wondering if any one has drove past  or checked them figured I would start some a tread was wonder for a ice report
I'm not brightest tool in the shed my ice auger is

The deal has been sealed. The northern lakes are capped, again. Shouldn't be long and we'll have fishable ice. Looking at the forecast, New Years ish.....

I was hoping to try Summit this weekend, but it's about a 2 hour drive or me to check it out.

I live in balir jthod and I would bet if u want to find a lake with ice you will want to drive to northeast nebraska they have been just a little bit cooler then us down here to were it might of been the difference between saving the ice and not having any good luck hoping to maybe go look a these lakes the day after Christmas

That surprises me cause Cramper lake was open Saturday soo when you get a ice report on powder would really appreciate it thank you

Powder creek is iced over but its very inconsistent  as far as thickness. 2 to 5 inches in the area in front of the dock and some slush on top here and there. I popped some holes with the new ION but didn't fish, to much cracking for my liking., im off all week so ill keep checking , its only a 4.5 mile drive

How do you think the ice will be after this week of cold would love to get out even if it's just to get out to those trees

I made it close to there today,  lumpy cloudy ice.  depending on snow cover  id guess Wednesday or Thursday to be safe. I want to fish  but inm not ready to swim!!

Was wondering if any one know how much snow they got up that way and if the ice took a beating from the snow and wind cause would really like to make the trip up but don't want drive all the way from blair to find crap ice

I been stuck at home with the woman, not a bad thing, so I haven't made my rounds today I plan on fishing powder creek Wednesday.

3 to 6 in on powder creek near the boat ramp with slush under the snow. I didn't venture to far  so that's all   I got for now.

yes but more slush today. the old creek channel seemed the thinnest.
