i just got my local ice report only to discover that we have had safe ice for the last week and a half! :woot: :thumbsup: :blink: :%$#!:
i putting the pressure on dad to get out this saturday.  :icefish:

Good thinking kid . It is better to wait a day or two to get some one to go with you than go swimming this time of the year . Good luck when you do get out there  :icefish:

Same thing happened to me last year.  Didn't realize there was fishable ice close to home until I was out by the lake and decided to stop by and see how it was coming along.  There was a guy in the parking lot that was heading out and he told me that they had been fishing for 3 weeks!   Big AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Tightlines and Safe Ice to you all!
