A second chance for ice?

It looks like it's going to be below freezing for the next 10 days at least.   Maybe get a second chance?  I know I didn't get enough hard water fishing in.

I don't think there is a problem..except getting on and off...maybe???  The ice around the island was real good last Sunday but the ice at the ramp is getting broken off by trucks backing too far in (I'm guilty as well)  But the ice down shore a few feet was fine to get off and on! I'm going to be out of town this weekend or I would drive up and check it out. As i said last weekend it was good but I think there was alot of fisherman that didn't come out on the ice because it looked .............scary.... .........but wasn't in the least.  BE SAFE!!!  ROPE!   HAND SPIKES!  Cell PHONE!

Things going great and yes the sun is up at 7:00. Look more forward to A.M. fishing because I might be awake. Bad weekend for me too but will be heading over next weekend. Ma says the perch was the best she has had since last time and I won't
admit when the last time was!

Woke up this morning and gave her a whirl. Truck thermometer said 6 degrees!  Thats almost an inch a night growth I believe.  Heard the sweet harmonious sounds of ice building once again

Good to hear some word on Brushy.  I am going up this Saturday.  Never fished there but hear it's tons of trees.  Sounds like everybody likes the island?  I might try something different and see what happens.
