They make Pimples that have a glow in the dark sticker on them, it's kind of a lite yelloow- green color, almost white.

Just look for the model that has "GLO" and you've found it. It may only be a piece of tape, but it glows for a long time and seems to work well for me. I just bought a half dozen #7GLO's for the pike tourney in February.

This is just my opinion and what I've found out about using them, but I do not really think that they help all that much for pike, lakers, etc. Walleye is a different story though.
if anybody from michigan will help me out with the lakes and stuff up here I'd really appreciate it since I'm new to the area.

Check out their site. There is a list of colors that are available so you can hastle your local tackle shop for not carrying the GOOD ones.

Does everybody use the extra split ring on the top of the lure, or tie direct and skip the split ring?

I have always used the ring, gives more action and less wear and tear on your knot.
Here's an old trick...use a #2 pimple, remove the bottom hook, leave the flipper, tie on a 2 to 3 inch leader of florocarbon line and then an ant or ice fly. Tip it with a wiggler or grub and use that to search for perch and gills. Crappie seem to prefer minnows instead of grubs but still whack this combo.

The smallest pimple, the 1/10 ounce with the glow stikcer is a great option for crappies at dusk and after dark. The bigger models work great for walleye. Tip with a waxie or spike for crappie, and a fishhead for walleye.

I actually just replace the treble with a slightly larger, premium model like a gamakatsu. Crappies and walleyes usually completely inhale baits. Using a dropper hook or hali though is a great option for perch, even though they have good sized mouths because they kind of peck at things.

I like the halis and singles because I throw a lot of fish back and with the treble its hard if they inhale it, plus I think the dropper hali chain adds a lot of movement to your setup wich I think turns those bigger fish on when the bite is tuff.  I find this year so far the bigger fish seem to dart up and crash the bait if you stop it a foot or so above them and jig it rappid and stop-bam they are there, I watch it on the vex,its great

I use glow in the dark pimples in the smallest sizes they have for perch and gills, i use the single hook because if the dinks hit it its easy to get out than the trebles, especially if its -10 degrees out.

I fished the other night around dusk and tried everything. The thing the crappies hit was a gold hammered pimple with a glow bead I put over it on the line. That did it 9 out of 10 times. I kept trying small glo jigs with grubs or minnows and flying/swimming lures. Even the frostee jig tipped with a minnow. Nothing but the Swedish Pimple with the glo bead above it. Everyone else on the lake said that they just weren't biting and came up empty.

Thanks for the tip.  Love perch fishing and anything that could possile entice them to bite is great advice.  Sort similar to a Hali jig?

ya molehole same idea it is a dropper rig   or dropper spoon or at least that is what i call them. I use pimples thiks way also. Buckshots are a good spoon for this also. I bought a bunch of extra dropper chains.
