I believe they quit making them.  Once in a while I find one or two in some clearance bins.

I found them online made by yakima, but the ones they are showing doesnt have the chain on them like the ones that I have.  I will keep looking.  Thanks

Is a thingamabob like a Hali jig?

Thanks slipperybob. Not even close to what I was thinking. Looks more like a forage minnow.

It's just a short heavy minnow head jig weight with a hook on a split ring.  It's detailed on both sides making it symetrical.  It drops strait down with authority.

Don't need the chain-- treble worked best for me. Great lure for drifting open water too

the ones at dick's had the chain, along with a few sturdier replacement single hooks - very good deal imo

I went and found some Thingambob's at Dicks Sporting Good also.  It has the chain and a flicker tail on it.

If your dead set on having a chain, you can buy extra chains from hali, and put them on any jig.  I like to use them on buckshots.

Thingamabob modified.

Did you mean to modify it backwards?  And if so, why?

Thanks ~ Jeff

Thingamabob has the head looking down.  Thinamajig has the head looking up.

All I did was add a hook with double flippers to my modified Thingamabob.
