I want to say thanks to the IS members for the info they gave me to make my ice fishing season a success! First time fishing Keuka had my limit of Lake Trout by 11:30 the first time ever fishing that lake and lake trout, Chautauqua 48 keeper perch again first time fishing that lake. I got good info for Canandauga (never made it out there, but next year). A great bunch of guys, THANK YOU.

Thanks for starting this thread, great idea. I'm in the exact same position. Went to Keuka first time, first time for lakers. Got my limit! Took a little longer than you though Thanks to everyone that helped me out as well both on Keuka and other lakes as I just recently started ice fishing three years ago, and would not have been nearly as successful without all your help. I love it but I don't think my wallet does. Always bummed out to see the ice go.
