Well... here's one tip... Pull your hat down tight before Roc jumps on the throttle lol. The ole war wagon jumps outta the hole and hops on plane a lot quicker than expected...

We definitely need to meet up more than once a winter Jason, I'm planning on venturing out of the SW corner of the state and spending more time around the lakes region this year...

Some great pics Joe... I see you even got your bride out on the boat, well done.
I look forward to it Ray

Nice pictures Joe. Been a crazy time.  Nice fish Stealth. Agree it's been tough finding parts. I was lucky and scored a new made in usa dishwasher.  As far as ice fishing goes I replaced my leaders on my tip ups today and got a new aerator pump for my bait buckets.  Spent a few bucks extra for a nice one. One less thing to do.  On another note I recently purchased a Battery powered filet knife by rapala.  It worked great on fish and as an added bonus it's awesome for carving pumpkins.  The kid got a kick out of that.

High 20s and lots of frost in my yard this morning... I know it's been a tough summer when a frozen windshield on the white buffalo is the best thing I've seen all week lol

Good luck getting the trailer painted and sealed tomorrow Joe, supposed to be a wet one. Good thing you checked your bearings, like you said they wouldn't have made it to the highway. The spring swap should go easy, probably one of the best mods you'll end up doing. They like to spring the big bore bikes pretty soft to help with ride but to me they're always too soft. Mine has been on aftermarket suspension since around 10 miles, best improvement it's seen...
The wheeler, trailer, and winter beater are ready to go for me, still have to go through the rods and traps but that's easy by the fire in the evenings.
About time to start adjusting the sleep schedule as well, I'll set the alarm 10 minutes earlier every few days to slowly get back to the 3:00 am wake up calls...

Been wanting to do some ice fishing out there, but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen (again) this year. I've had a bit of my ice gear in storage with the in-laws there for like 2.5 years now, and haven't made it back out since. 😭

Hope yall have a good, long ice season out there.

No, I'll be ice fishing locally, if we get good ice. A trip to NH just isn't in the cards this winter.
