Why not just include the text description under the icons for us slow people who don't remember what each icon does?

I'm on the older version..

Are these icons a world wide way of a universal language, if not that, I don't see a benefit from that "font"?..

Hey so this is probably a stupid question but how do I join topics or groups?  New here and kinda confused.  Looking to join MA and ME threads

Next to the house icon ( home page) there's an icon that looks like a realestate for sale sign ( 2nd one from left)
If you click on that icon & scroll down the page , you'll find what you're looking for.

So far so good cause ya found a 5 year old thread
