Plan A was open water fishing a pond 3.5 hrs drive from home, but a 1.5" cap thwarted that plan. We had our ice stuff also but even I won't do 1.5" with temps above freezing and a nice breeze rustling our longjohns. So onto Plan B with another 15 miles and then a 3 mile hike to a little lake I had never iced b4. Got there and had a Oh cRAP moment with open wat...
