Looking for feedback

If people are wondering who I am, I am the  guy who is donating a Bluegill carving, to the on line IceShanty Derby.
I Doing a couple of pieces for the up coming carving show in March.
This fish judge likes home made habitat, he's not really a fan of, found driftwood, it seems to float his boat more, if the items in the fish habitat is made by the carver.
That being the case, I thought I would present the Smallie cruising over a pile of rocks.
The rock under the Smallie isn't painted yet,,, still fine tuning it.
To see if this ideal of mine will work with the Smallie, I would like to know what people thought of it,,, any thoughts are welcomed.

If you are saying those "rocks" under the Smallie are painted wood, then HECK YEAH, that is awesome. I thought the rocks were real until you said the one under the fish isn't painted. You do great work Eric, I hope you do well at the competition. My dad did stamp painting competitions in WI, I know how hard they can be. A huge "GOOD LUCK" from me.
