all largemouth across the northern part of the country act excatly the same at a givin water temp reguardless of the body of water. in cold ice covered -or nearly so-water. they stack up on rocky humps with easy access to deeper water with currant flow. using a depth finder to find there suspended depth..

use what ya will.

but i like either live bait or a slow moving crankbait..hey i don't fish in to much hard water..

That's great info for a flowage....but in a land locked lake, with no rocks?
For that I suggest deeper holes near the usual summer haunts. Also, flats with shallow on one side and deep water on the other will yield some fish, though they tend to roam.
Around here (MN), BC (Before Christmas) provides the best through-the-ice action for bass.
