oh ya i have great luck with dead bait but i put down both live and dead to see what the like do to where u are fishing

I have had great luck squashing one and putting a live one on it also......right on bottom.......I use shiners and do fine for togue with them, but also have seen guys put a mooselook or something similar a couple feet above hook with a big live bait (6-10") and they have caught big togue that way.
