I had a '96 f3, like the guys are saying, not a slow sled, as in she will NEED a carboning out every few miles and 40 won't cut it. Can I ask why did you buy a 600 triple triple? I now have a fan 440cc I love this sled, shes my beach, the f3 was a diva.

If the price was really cheap, maybe see if you can make a little on it, I really think it sounds like you bought way too much sled for your needs. Like I said, I had a f3 too, and it was just not a great ice fishing sled, its too heavy, has a "need for speed", and the f3 is known for engine troubles. But I don't share your sentiments about the electric start and reverse either, they just add weight in my opinion.
Just keep your eyes open for a better sled, you might find you don't like this one too much.

with the bad leg I have     the reverse is great and with the bad leg cant get leverage to pull start

Just took it for a spin around the yard    I admit it does has some power! 5000 rpm to engage the clutch to get it off the trailer  hmm  no to get the studs in
