Title: Cossayuna Pike
Post by: Fifield_Outf on Feb 11, 2019, 04:53 PM
I caught this 40” bruiser out of Cossayuna Lake during the 3 day tournament on there. We pulled this out of the hole at 2 pm and got it to weigh in at smileys bait shop by the 3pm deadline. We ended up coming in 1st for the pike/tiger division 😁 Got it measured and hauled it back in a water filled jet sled to fight again 👍🏻

I take pictures and return them home and do replica mounts on them. We had the jet sled full of water in the back of our Jeep Grand Cherokee and needless to say I got a little water from one end of the Jeep to the other 😂😂

Were you using large suckers? That’s an awesome fish, any size to the tigers?

Beautiful fish man and you got double points in my book for releasing it. Replicas are the way to go! I havent seen a pike that big from there in a while.

that’s the 5th one like that I’ve seen come out of there this year just that I know of. All got released. Mine was the longest , other ones where 38”-39” - all good fish 😁
