Title: daiwa revros lt 1000 and 2000 ?

has anyone used either of these reels on the ice ? i am getting a fenwick elite tech 28 ml and was thinking of using either of these reels on it , most likely the 2000 size , any thoughts or suggestions appreciated .

I just gave a new one away to my nephews son 3000 size if I remember correctly. The green fenwicks seem lighter than the older black and gold version. In my opinion you do not need that big of a reel on that rod. A better alternative would be a heavier rod. a fenwick H or MH might be ok

Among the ultra light spinning reels of Diawa, the Revros LT 1000 is a rare one that has a shallow spool that works well for ice fishing purpose.
