OK Guy's & Girl's & Kid's let me hear from everyone who can make it. Please only but down one Date & Sat or Sun. Sat Feb 24th & Sun the 25th .Like Doug said we can all pick a lake after we pick a date. So let's get this done

Lake Hopatcong for Sure!! I like increasing my chances of catching all different types of fish. The problem may be parking though. I wonder if Dows would consider allowing us to park up top of thier lot on the right hand side if we all promise to by some bait from them come tournament time?

I agree...thats deep water area and it might not be safe...if u choose LH it would have to be State Park or River Styx...
I would like it somewhere else actually,especially if the KDC tounry goes as planned next weekend but i guess we'll save that for the vote!

I just spoke to Laurie from DOWS. She told me that in front of her store they arelooking at 8 plus inches right now. However from Chestnut Point out it is still open. The state park and woodport are approaching 10 inches. Lauire also told me that it wouldn't be a problem for us all to park by her store so long as we support them. There is plenty of ice on Hopatcong but if we are worried about some of wondering off into "open water" then I don't know what to say. I for one drill a hole every 10 feet to make sure. It's up to you guys though..My vpt e is still Hopatcong..

i vote for sunday the 25th....and i was out on the lake by dows last week....the ice ranges from 9in to 4 inches, depending how far back you go...the ice ridge there is 9 inches, out to the main lake from there is about 4.  hope that helps a little.

I know how to get there but dont know street names so i cant help you..sorry..im sure someone will know exacts and post directions...that being said i dont even know the names of my side streets.

Oh and im retired at 39..lol For real,i have been home since my second child was born in 2001...and i do laundry but dont do windows!
