Fishing store close to the 49th
« on: Nov 14, 2007, 09:27 AM »
Good day to all:
I am looking to find a Fishing store close to the US/Canada border! The reason is I am interested in getting a Eskimo 6 man ice shelter but they cannot be sold in Canada because we have rules about tents of anysort not being fire resitant.

I just don't feel my life would be complete unless I own one of these.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

So you can't order it through the mail/UPS/FedEx???

Seems like that would be the easiest way....

No store in the US can ship a Eskimo shelter to Canada.

It can only be purchased and physically brought across.

We just got a new Cabela's in Post Falls, Idaho and we have several Sportsman's Warehouses plus a few other stores that cater to ice fishermen.  There would be several places within 100 miles of the border in this area.

http://www.canvascraftinc.com/northland.htm The 8X8 is $320, you supply the wood. Ships to Canada. I own the 6X8, it fits 2 people very comfortably, 4 with some room to spare.
