I saw two guys out on Oyster River today at 11:00am. They were fishing low tide, sort of near the foot bridge. I chatted with one of them and he said that there was about 3" of ice. They were planning to stay until 2:00pm and not mess with high tide. The accessed the area much further upstream than the traditional "end of the parking lot" crossing, which looks really thin. I did not see a pile of fish or any action(forgot to ask how they were biting - duh).
