I have to agree with you. When the sun is out, usually when I catch them, their colors are brilliant! Like you said, a photo does not allow you to see them like you do in person. Thanks!

Fantastic fish. Another prime example of the 10,000 reasons why we fish. Even when we have those days where we catch little to nothing we still always keep our eye on the prize.

Outstanding tip-up fight, catch and release!  All solo.  Great tip-up "manners" in the way you laid your line out...knowing you were going to need it...several times!  Those wanting to know the right way to fight a fish free-hand should watch.  Congrats!!!
