ice conditions?
« on: Mar 20, 2005, 08:00 PM »
Well the season is almost to a end.I,like some, had a late start to the ice fishing season.Didn't use my auger till Xmas.Thank god for the sauger run at Lockport.I'm planning to make one last trip to the ice this Good Friday.Did anyone make it out to the Red this weekend? What's the ice like at Lockport and Selkirk? After the past two Saturdays,it sounds like that if you want to win the big $20,000 derbies to go after the pike!I think I'll try to enter one next year for sure.Even if I don't win anything,it would be fun to experience it.A day of bad fishing is still better than a day of work!

Fellow I know reported catching a few limits of walleyes (4-5 lbs) out at Breezy Point this morning. Did anyone else have any luck out that way this weekend ?
