« on: Feb 10, 2020, 04:05 PM »
Any one fish Pea Porridge Pond the big one? Looking for some conditions if possible I’m heading up this weekend to that area....pm me if you want. We had a great time at the derby the fishing was slow but we managed a few does anybody have a picture of that 12 pound Laker?

I will be staying up in North Conway Friday night and sat night. I was thinking of checking out this pond as well. Love fishing for browns 😍

There is plenty of ice around there. Good luck.
How's the ice they all ask? "I’ll tell you what, you can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking your head up a bull’s butt, but I’d rather take the butcher’s word for it."

Middle P with have even more but it’s more of just a bowl, less structure. Just avoid the opening of the river that connects the two you’ll be fine. Just got a good amount of snow as well. Plenty of bass and pickerel to keep you busy if the trout are not biting.

Super slow and boring in my opinion...... If you have kids I'd go to chase flags at pequawket. Bass perch and pickerel. Big pea wasn't stocked much this year so it's a lot of little perch

If you want flags go to danforth pond...keep the kids busy for sure..small pond below Conway ..
when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

im sorry its dollof pond...we stayed on pea porridge one February break and the fishing was tough so we branched out as the week went along..dollof was a small pond we hit because one of the old fellas that we were with wanted to catch some pickerel to bring home so we tried dollof...flag all day but all hammer pickerel...not too many big ones..if you were looking for action there is plenty on this little body of water...good luck and enjoy

Where is there a good bait shop that sells shiners in that area?

The closest is silver lake home center in Madison then ossipee bait and tackle but that's a pretty good ride

Agreed 5 bucks a dozen and they have tip up suckers now too. Only downside they are closed Sundays and close at noon on Saturday. So plan ahead and stock up Friday or Saturday morning

I'll be on Danforth Saturday all day if you make it down there say hi. We'll probably be on the backside of the pond.
