Don't forget we also have the conditions page. Only members who have a certain number of posts can see those. That way you can say lake x has _"of ice or whatever and the creepers can't see it. It helps a little bit at least. Early ice is tough. Everyone wants to protect their honey hole as long as they can. I personally fish a bunch of different spots so I don't mind sharing info
The BIG one is just one flag away!

Species caught : largemouth, smallmouth,  bluegill, perch, White perch, crappie, trout, catfish, bowfin, pickerel, pike

All the "safe ice around me took a hit with 36 hours of above freezing temps. Almost hit Beach dam tonight but even for me it was a no go. I was on but felt like March soft ice. It will be packed in the am though after this cold night.

Thats great, but to be honest Its a PIA  to find the place you want to post to. If it were in say Alphabetical order you could find it a lot easier.  JMO

If you click the "subject" header directly over the lake list it will alphabetize.

Found safe ice. Had the place to ourselves.

22” female brown. She jammed the spool and was banging my buddies tip up in the hole. Then, when she wouldn’t fit through the hole that wasn’t chipped out well, my son gave a stellar assist. Funny thing too is that I told my son to put a tilt in that spot but he had his own agenda. Lol.
If you can't play nice, get off the ice!

I was able to get out on some smaller stocked trout ponds in central CT the last 3 days with 3.5-4 inches of ice. Good luck y'all
To fish or not to fish?...What a stupid question
