Thanks guys. I didn't want to do a million repetitive posts so I stayed quiet, went to "work" every weekend and got some results.

Nice work this year John. Next year i think i am going to reserve a couple hundred hours for something other then pike. I had my fun this year, I got one BIG fish, tons of smaller ones. but for the hundreds and hundreds of hours i spent, ready for changes soon, One more week of gators i think

Change is good Matt. I did the gator thing for a while. I guess I still am but the 40" I want is a laker...and I want it on the jig stick. I think it may take a couple thousand hours...I'm fine with that.

I did the Pike thing a while back and though rewarding when that fatty comes along, not my style in general. Like Jon said, a change is nice. Good luck with the rest of the season to the both of you. I would love to see that 40" laker, especially on the jig.

Pike was a change of pace for me this year but Lakers are tempting me for next season.

Wow, fantastic work!

I made my last laker trip of the season yesterday and managed to only ice one... which gives me a grand total of 6 for the season

(Southern NH though)

Thank you sir. Its easy to get addicted to chasing them. Not to mention its not a bad thing to spend most of winter warm in the flipover!
