Just wanted everyone to know that I have been hearing that the crappies are hittin' pretty good. I myself have been doing well on green n chartrues. rockers as well as small chartrues willows. Try the sandbar, don't go out far try to stay close.....don't let the depth scare you, you will only be fishing in about 3 or 4 feet but trust me like mr.bibbit said they are there!!! Try the back bays in malletts bay as well. Most fish for me are coming from about 2 to 3 feet off the bottom in deeper water, but in shallow they are pretty much right under the ice for the most part. Gills are hanging on the bottom.
