A wood burning stove? I bet she gets to 90 degrees in there, if not hotter. Conservation Officer would have a funny look on his face if he ever knocks on your door to check your license and you answer it with no shirt on and bermuda shorts. Very nice though.

Not too shabby.
I wonder how much time went into it?  I wonder what the cost was?  And, more to the point, what does it weigh?  My guess: 1/2 ton

The employment of effort, hard work, time, and energy put in locating fish will offend noone.

Around here the Police report would read::

Stolen ice shanty from local lake was found late last night in the river bottoms mobile home park.  Arrest came as a result of phone tips from neighbors. It seems it raised some suspicions around the area when the "new" house raised property taxxes for the entire community. Owners claimed they won the lottery and had it built overnight when no one was looking. Thelma lee was singing "were mov'in on up" from the jeffersons while they led her to the patrol car....

A shanty that nice is bound to be a big pain in the ass.  My barbaric buddies will want to use it whenever they please, and it will likely sink into the ice and require massive equipment to retrieve.  I'll stick with my portable.

Still, its kind of cute.

Tight lines.

yup that thing must be a big pain the a$$ to go an retrieve towards springtime, unless you have enough ice and a big rig.  our shack to the left there is an 8x8, and with our wood stove it gets about 85 in there then we open the windows, but it weighs probably around 400-500lbs, and it can still be a bit%^ to take off and put on.  this year with my new grizzly 660 should make life a little easier!!   happy fishin all!!

What no leather easy chair, ceiling fans and I hope you don't actually have to go outside to get a beer?   Please let's get out of the stone age!

just kidding, That is great I love all the little details that make it incredible.

Without a doubt a beautiful shanty.

I don't think I would let any of my friends in it if it were mine.
Almost too nice for the sometimes messy sport of ice fishing/drinking
Sure is a lot nicer than my 8x6 shack which I just finished making out of 100% recycled/reused junk
Rain, sun, sleet, snow grab the minnows and let's go!

Are there any laws governing fishing from my living room? 8)
I would never leave the ice, have my mail forwarded, satelite internet.... I could even work from there.
I wonder if dominoes would deliver on the ice?

you asked about dominoes, my buddy and I had dominos delivered to our shack a couple years back, the guy met us at the boat launch, then one year we had one of those traveling OMAHA steak guys driving his pickup on the lake with a freezer in the bed of his truck come by and try to sell us steaks on the ice, knocked on the door of our shack and every other shack out there! LOL

Since we usually dont get enough ice to have one, or not even allowed to have a permanent on the ice that i'm aware of here in IN. That would be parked in my backyard for when the wife is mad at me and i'm in the proverbial " dog house",guess where i'll be staying.
