Congratulations to the young lady. She should enter it in the Wyoming Game and Fish Master Angler program as it only takes a 23" walleye to qualify. She will receive a Master Angler certificate along with a sticker denoting the fish species caught.

That is certainly a nice one! Always glad to see daughters and dads fishing!  It is not so much about the fish as it will be about the memories of time spent together!

Great memory for both of you!  Cherish the moment.  If the eyes out there are anything like those on Saginaw Bay, a 27 incher will be right about 7lbs.  Are you going to mount it for her?  You can have some real good mounts done with pictures, length and gerth measurements and still release or eat the fish!
