Ditto.

Might be worth a try.  I think you'd need a snowmobile to access it, though.

I was asking incase I got up to Cascade for some perch to go over there and try for a tiger muskie thru the ice. Never been there so snow mobile may be the only way in? Might be a problem. Anyways just thinkin. Thanks for the input.

Well we struck out. Not even a bite. But it was my 2 yr olds first time fishing and that made it awesome. We only lost one skimmer. And the sun was out and man, it was great!

it's down 6-10' but we were in 30'+ water then kept moving closer to shore and got to about 10'. I'm going to try and get there on Sunday, without the family. It might be easier to locate fish. There sure were alot of skaters.

It doesn't get plowed out so until it starts dumping you can fish it. There isn't really a good place to park other tha the boat launch area. Nothing along Lick Creek Rd.

Oh I just tried some big spoons I have then I jigged the heck out of a crippled herring and I was thinking I should try perch or cut bait on a tip up, 3'-5' fow. Maybe it's just slow right now for them. Don't know never fished them through the ice, but I figured the would be like northerns.

No way man can't afford that kind of stuff, lol, haven't seen any, Eyes have been looking through an 8" circle staring at jigging objects. Would love to get a flasher sometime though.

Yes but never made it back out there, saturday the lake had a skim layer but would think now might have at least an inch. I'll check it on tuesday, maybe I can get out there this week.

36 degrees tuesday afternoon when I was there, 1"-2" of weak ice. A couple of night in the teens would make it good for fishing. The water level went up a lot since the monsoon, the stumps are in at least a foot of water.

also I found this interesting when I googled little payette lake,

Fishing – Anglers find this lake’s clear waters to be a great place for trout, smallmouth bass, crappie, walleye, and tiger muskie. In fact, several
trophy size fish have been caught here.
from this website: http://www.allmccall.com/lakes_rivers_falls/little_payette_lake.php

so there are crappie and walleye in there? never heard that before....
