I'v got one that I use for nicer days thats 30x15x19-1/2".Nothing fancy except that it has a place in the front for a lantern that has plexy glass on two sides to help keep the heat from being blown away and has peg board on top to warm you hands and dry gloves. On the rear I put 2 hooks to hang a milk crate on to carry the minnow bucket or extra gear.

I use a big plactic tool box. It's big enough for my heater, jigs, line, gloves and food. Work very well!!!

I just finished up mine....well for this season. I'll spend this winter figuring out what I want to change. It has 2 levels and you access the bottom through a panel in the top. I made the sides high enough so 6 gallon buckets would not tip over. I paln on adding a page on my site for how I built it....Kind of like what I did for my shanty.

ESOX - That is one sweet sled! Do you pull it by hand or use a snowmobile or atv? How much does it weigh? Great job!

Thanks guys. It weighs about #63 and I pull it by hand. The ski's make all the difference. The jet sled was about useless in deep snow. Now it just rides up on top as slick as can be. I'll be testing it on the ice next weekend.
To post a pic, you need to have it on a website. Then you paste the link between the "img"'s

Nice Sled!!! You forgot the oar locks. Looks like a great last ice sled for punky ice. Looks like you could float right to safty if needed. But truely a great sled. Love the decales

Perchchaser,
I'll try and get it up this week. Hard to tell with the holidays.
Cold feet,
I use canoe paddles.
I added the decals so the folks at Sheldons Inc would not disown me.
Bud,
#63 without gear....might not be correct since my scale is only suppose to go to 50#. I tried it in the snow and it pulls great. Should not be a problem with ALL of my gear. The jet sled was a pain in deep snow with any amount of gear.

Bud,
On skis this pulls better then the jet sled did carring half the weight. Plus, I'm not losing gear over the sides.
