Waterfront camp rental
« on: Nov 28, 2018, 10:35 AM »
Looking for a waterfront camp to rent for a few days this coming season, sometime between late Jan to early Mar.
No snowmobiles or wheelers, so must be waterfront (the closer - the better). Must haves - clean, comfortable, cooking, sleeps min 4, shower.
Would be nice to put a trout or salmon on the ice as well - but that's a bonus.
Thanks - Steve

Make sure you check regs.....cannot keep salmon through the ice

Where exactly are you looking to do this? I rented a house right on the water that sleeps 8 and is waterfront. As mentioned, salmon are not legal through the ice and most waterfront properties will be running bubblers to keep the docks from freezing and getting damaged. That being said access may be difficult even with a waterfront property.
Just add water.

Maine wilderness tours
when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

place has giant pike..like high teen 20 lb pik and enough smallies to keep you busy..only problem weather can be brutal and plenty of snow on the ice for sure..they set up a number of bob houses you can use throughout the trip
