This hard water season can not get here soon enough! I'm getting so ancey. I've had my eye on this one pond in particular that I was just crushing the yellows and can't wait to get back on there to catch a feast for the family.

I've got some free time the week before Xmas, and I might head up north (from MA) for that weekend if I have all my shopping done beforehand.

I have at least one place I like to try that should be good by then and will be LEGAL TO FISH.
Kills me that lake trout waters aren't open for ice fishing until 1/1, but I'll try to find something to fill that void while I wait....

Small ponds are going to be the choice of trying out, just be aware that it’s calling for rain on Sunday and unless it falls well below freezing that will make some bad conditions. I’ll wait it out and hopefully see what makes it through the warmer weather
