Anyone want to have a get together next weekend on Merrymeeting ?
Theres good cusk and laker fishing there.
And theres plenty of parking and no need for machines unless you want to go way out.

Hrmmm, my last trip out was a good time, maybe I could wrestle up a few more of the Maine boys and make a trip of it... have a sled now, so wont be quite so ride dependent

awwwwww i can't make it as i made plans to hit a local pond with my brother we're on a mission to try and capture "KONG" so he can crush slabzilla.and save japan

I was up at the beach two weeks ago, one of the guys at Powder Mill said they were getting some nice fish off the beech including rainbows, there was a nice 4 pounder caught during the kids derby a few weeks ago.

Only sick SOBs like myself fish Merrymeeting for rainbows

It took me fifteen trips for one rainbow

The winning untagged winni derby rainbow was caught at Merrymeeting.

Well keep us informed, if you are going on Saturday or Sunday I will come up for the day along with the wife, I will not be bring the snow machine, We will fish just off the beach.

Thumber, i will be there both days.
The way it sounds most people cant fish sat, so sun will be the meeting day.

No Salmon, I lost one around 1:15 it got hung up on something below, It felt like I was pulling on brush a or a tree limb. After about 10 Mins. the leader snap. I stayed out till 5PM no other flags the rest of the day.

For now it looks like the weather will be nice, Sat sunny, Sunday Partly Cloudy temps to be in around 45.
