Why do people try to sell there used custom rods for the same price you can buy a new custom rod for does anyone get this

I usually don't buy used stuff from anyone, because they usually ask for an outrageous price.

I hardly ever sell my stuff.  If I do...an example would be like a $100 rod sold for like $10.  Rod condition would be like a 9/10.

Anything I've used, I never ask for more than 1/2 of it's original retail price.  That's just me.

Yea I can understand that but some people dont get it it's like with the fl8s people are charging more the you whuld buy one new for just makes wonder if others had seen it

Sometimes these sellers are just hoping to catch the desperate person who needs the equipment right away and not trying to unload the stuff.

I guess so but I wonder how many times we all have payed more for something because we just dident look a little longer
