I had the pleasure to fish and spend some time over the years with Blu. I wish there were more people like Blu, willing to share his years of experience. I also had the pleasure to sharpen his auger blades over the past 15yrs. which always resulted in a long conversation over the phone or thru emails.
As most of us only new Blu as Blu his real name was Steve Butzow from a small town in central Illinois.
Steve's sense of humor will last in our minds for a long time.
