Seems at the rate we are going it wont be till after the first of the year, but I will say Dec 20 at least down here on small water.

December 24th on small lakes. But not the ones by you blu. Math will be ready. Too bad all the fish vanished.

Who you going with to Boji? I got 4 weeks vacation next year.

I can burn 8 days for the hard water season and still make the BWCA a few times.

i'm going to say a good 3" here in nw illinois by dec 18.

we had 3" on the 16th last year and the 15 day nov forcast looks similar to last years.

whats nice is that last year we avged high 40's, low 50's the last 2 weeks of november....this year the last few weeks of novembers are forcasted with highs in the high 30's low 40's.

O I know man,I used to be like ,why do i even bother fishing in illinois when I can be down in Fort Myers catching real fish......but now i just make the most of what I have in front of me.....

hey man you live close to me (Romeoville) I know plenty of great ice and soft water spots .....I dont mind sharing with people...

Looks like the stars have aligned for me to make my first holes Saturday the 11th. I'll be out there with the rest of the diehards on Neilson's Channel bright and early Saturday morning.
