Title: Crappie Fishin
Post by: 2FishinBuddies on Jan 05, 2008, 05:20 PM
Im getting ready to take my 11yr old son out tomorrow. He ended last year with a huge Crappie through the ice in NY. Any lakes or ponds in the northern fairfeild or lower litchfield counties have good conditions? Anyone know where to fish Mount Tom?

Try nystrums pond on the Litchfeild/Thomaston line. The fishing was good there the last season. I havn't fished it yet this season so I can't give you a real good report on conditions but Black rock pond which is down the road from it has 8 inches of ice.
