Thanks Water Wolf, the ice livewell was my buddy Len's idea. He's got some cool photos of brookies in the ice well too.

As you can tell, not many people fish the lake  ...but it is still a hazard to machines so just in case I shoveled a big pile of snow on both sides with a solid branch staked to mark it..

We did not harvest them all, two each. The ice well was solely for entertainment purposes lol. Len got a video of us releasing them on the LX-9.
