Good to know. Me and the crew will be making our 7th annual trip just west of there in February. Found us a nice little "surprise" lake up there.  ;)

Grand is a lake id like to spend some time on, its so far from me its hard to make it up there but dang it has some nice fish in it

Grand is a good perch lake I just hate all the little ones . I spend more time on long , beaver, Hubbard … but I would rather catch walleye than perch

Walleye for me is saginaw bay and river, hard to justify traveling far when they are 20 minutes away

I said hard to justify not impossible lol, looking at booking an airbnb over that way this winter on either grand long hubbard black or another lake as long as the house in ON the lake

Right on doe . Keep an eye out and you can probably catch a tournament if you catch the right weekend . Long has a good tournament with lots of good prizes

Same here, love fishing the bay for walleye.  I just get tired of the inconsistent ice conditions.  One  wrong wind direction and everything gets messed up.  As much as I love the bay, I've been looking for alternate lakes to fish walleye in case the bay isn't up to par.

Inland lake walleye are a tough go, leelanau is a good option but far, at least from me, burt, far again, i have some lakes i cstch eyes in on accident in the summer targeting bass but never when i target walleye

We're on Grand Lake, (north end) and just this weekend started to skim over. Still some open areas, but hopefully walkable by the end of the month. Fingers crossed!
