dont have any ice fishing ones yet, this will likely be the first year my oldest gets out on the ice. But here is one of the very nice bass that my 7 year old caught in a retention pond on her 8dollar princess spinning combo with 4 lbs mono and a pink (her favorite color) plastic worm. this was last easter. Didnt weight it but guesstimate was 5-7lbs.

Incidentially I caught a 6 lb bass in the same pond with a crank bait on the day after thanks giving this year.

Got my youngest out for his first trip just him and Dad he had a blast. He loved cleaning out holes and did that the whole time. The best part was he didn't drop the scoop down the hole 8)

My first time out ice fishing since arriving in Alaska. Their first time on the ice ever! Had a hard time explaining why we didnt catch any fish in 90 minutes but the kids in the background had a pike in under 5.

Not Hardwater but...

Papa wanted to take the boys out on Meddybemps lake in Maine while we were visiting this summer and my wife jumps at any chance to go out on the lake where I proposed 8)
