Cascade/Horsethief Ice reports
« on: Dec 03, 2020, 11:35 AM »
I know it's early but I thought I'd throw this up in hope we can get some reports.  I have no first hand knowledge and am sure it's worth being very cautious, but I did see on some FB posts reporting ice up to 4" in areas.

I'm relatively new to this, but getting more into it each year so excited to get going in 2020/2021.

You can tell I'm a rookie here as this is my first time on this winter and completely forgot there's a whole separate forum page for "reports".  Tried to remove this, but can't, so simply ignore this one.

I was up at Horsethief last weekend. I tried at main boat ramp and it was a NO GO. 10' from bank I put the Spud bar thru on 3rd hit. Thats a big NO GO in my book. With the cold it might be safe now but I would be real careful this on this early ice.
