Went out with August West Sunday - the slab hole produced one nice fish by AW, and he added it to my weekends take for a nice fry tonight:


Total weekend take:
7 perch
9 crappies
20 gills
1 rainbow
lost one LMB jigging that got wrapped in the Aquavu cable - definitely over 4 lbs.  That is probably the only negative about the underwater cameras...
Probably saw 200 fish on the camera, but they were very slow to hit.  Lots of fish (gills and perch) barely lipped the spike or waxy, never taking the hook into their mouths, then they swam away (never felt it either).  The crappies were sucking the bait in, then blowing it out in a microsecond, kinda like they were tasting it.  If they liked it, they sucked it in again...

I wouldnt mind having those kinds of numbers on a day...and that sucks that you lost that nice LMB at the hole on the cable..nice catches though :thumbsup:

Nice pics OC IVe always had better luck not using the Camera but it is a blast watching the fishies swim around :)

Thanks guys.  The fish fry was AWESOME last night!  Made up a bowl of slipbob's dipping sauce, along with a few Blues - HEAVEN ON EARTH!!
