Wind forecast 4mph or less the next 3 days. Think we might have 4-6" ice entire lake for next weekend.

I would be surprised if dome island/ pilots knob/ Phelps island stretch freezes.

As if today there is skim ice:
-Village area to about Tea Island, some small open spots...main lake wide open north from there
-Basin Bay about 3/4, open NE corner to main lake
-Huddle frozen to the islands, no bubblers at town dock yet, ice looked better than the Village
-Sawmill frozen out just past Green Island

Just moved to the the area and was really surprised to see no ice on the Lake ... is there a find a fishing buddy thread anywhere? Or is anyone looking for a buddy? If this is weird this post will self-destruct.

Checked out LG this morning. Most of the bays are skimmed over. Still not thick enough. 2 in thick in most spots. Still some open water in the middle of Harris. MDB huddle and vets were skimmed over. Should be good next weekend in some of those

I checked the Beach , boat launch today! 1 1/2” ice , froze almost to Paulist Fathers! Harris is also bottled up! Thinking a few more days of calm, cold weather!

Happy to hear the king is tightening up! Hopefully it builds ice fast this week. I saw a weather report for next next Sunday into Monday... possibly big snow event. Maybe we’ll get lucky with a miss, but from what I read all 4 models used for tracking weather are showing a good hit to the northeast. I sure hope it tracks east.
