Ok so my HT auger blades were getting pretty dull, so I was in Gander Mtn, and they only had mora replacement blades. Well the holes lined up with my blades and i got the same size and everything, the fasteners were even the same diameter! I attached these new 7" blades to my HT, and tried them out today on the pond. Blades were very sharp, but it was very hard to turn the auger. It worked but not as well as my dull HT blades. So I'm guessing this is an angle problem? Can it be fixed with shimming or am I sol?
